A loud high‑pitched noise occurs when I connect earphones while using ibisPaint.

On some devices, when SonarPen is selected in the “Supported Stylus” section of the settings screen and earphones are connected, a loud high‑pitched noise may occur at startup or when connecting the earphones.

Please follow the steps below to disable the “Supported Stylus” selection.

  1. Open the ibisPaint settings screen and set “Supported Stylus” to “None”.
  2. Restart the app.
  3. Connect your earphones again and check whether the issue has been resolved.
