A Could you please set "Japanese Auto Detect" OFF in "General" section in Settings screen?
If the problem still occurs, the e-mail or the page you received might not contain the Content-Type header or the charset of the Content-Type header.
If it is so, ibisMail for iPhone will not read the language.
