When you create a account, please select POP at the top of New Account screen after saving address and password.

Please make sure the account's configuration information is set as follows in the Settings.

Incoming mail server (POP)	Host	pop3.live.com
	User	mail address(includes the part of the address following @)
	Detail Use SSL	ON
	Detail Auth.	Password
	Detail Server Port	995
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)	Host	smtp.live.com
	User	mail address(includes the part of the address following @)
	Use SSL	ON
	Authentication	Password
	Server Port	587
