Q.
The image won't be saved as Transparent PNG

A.
There are two possible causes: one is the “Photos app spec change” and the other is “iCloud Photos”.

<Photos app spec change>
Please check the iOS version of your iPhone or iPad.
In iOS13 or later, it appears that for images smaller than a certain size (we are not sure what the threshold is), the background does not turn black when the image is tapped in the Photos app.
Whether this is a specification or a bug is unknown to us.
Also, it does not mean that transparent images cannot be saved in Ibis Paint; it is simply a display issue in the Photos app.
Please try saving a transparent PNG image and reloading the image that does not appear to be transparent in the Photos application into Ibis Paint. (Please select “No” for “Do you want to extract line art after loading?)

If the image is transparent (you can check by looking at the thumbnail in the Layers window), the transparent PNG has been successfully saved. This is simply a display issue on the photo app side.
Depending on the app, an image that appears to be non-transparent in the Photos app (when in fact it is transparent) may load as non-transparent when opened.
In this case, it means that the app is not compatible with the iOS13 specification change (or glitch, it is unclear).
Please contact the developer of the app that reads the image.
In some cases, you may be able to avoid the problem by increasing the image size. In this case, please go to Tools > Canvas > Resize in the Ibis Paint editing screen to increase the image size. Please duplicate your work in My Gallery before doing this, just in case.

<iCloud Photos>
If you save a transparent PNG and it looks like it's transparent in a photo app, it may turn out to be opaque when you look at it the next day. This is because PNG images saved on the device are uploaded to the iCloud server using the iCloud Photos function, and only the highly compressed version (JPEG) remains on the device. In this case, please go to go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos and select Download and Keep Originals.
Then, it will also save the PNG image on the device.

<Others>
X, LINE, and many other services that upload to servers do not support transparent PNGs; for X, only images uploaded from Safari or Chrome browsers and smaller than 900x900 pixels will be transparent PNGs. (In addition, when uploading with the X app, the image will be converted to JPEG and become opaque.)
LINE also does not seem to be transparent unless the original image is uploaded or the original image is downloaded.

Was the problem solved?

 It is solved.
 It is not solved. I inquire about it.
