How do I save my drawings to my Mac/PC?

To save artwork drawn in ibisPaint to your Mac/PC, you first need to export the image to your device (such as the Photos app on iOS or the Files app on Android), and then transfer it to your Mac/PC.

How to save to your device

  1. In My Gallery, select the artwork you want to save.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Select "Image (PNG/JPEG/PSD)."
  4. Choose the file format and other settings, then tap the "OK" button.
  5. Choose where to save the file.

Once the image is saved on your device, you can transfer it to your Mac/PC using one of the following methods, depending on your environment.

1. Transfer via AirDrop (iOS to Mac only)
This is the easiest method.
  1. Open the saved image in the Photos app on your iOS device.
  2. Tap the Share button and select "AirDrop."
  3. Select your Mac as the destination and accept the transfer on the Mac.
The received image will be saved in the Downloads folder on your Mac.

2. Use cloud storage (iOS/Android)
Transfer the image via a cloud service such as Google Drive, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.
  1. Open the cloud app on your device and upload the saved image.
  2. Log in to the same account from a browser or app on your Mac/PC and download the image.

3. Connect directly via USB cable (iOS/Android)
  • iOS to Mac: Connect with a USB cable and import the image using the Photos app or Image Capture on your Mac.
  • iOS to Windows: Connect with a USB cable, open the device in File Explorer, and copy images from the "DCIM" folder.
  • Android to Mac: Install "Android File Transfer" on your Mac, connect with a USB cable, and transfer the files.
  • Android to Windows: Connect with a USB cable, select "File Transfer (MTP)" mode on your device, and copy the images via File Explorer.

4. Send via email or messaging app (iOS/Android)
Email the image to yourself, or post it to a self-chat in a messaging app, then download it on your Mac/PC. This is convenient for sending a small number of images.

Note: Large images may not be attachable to emails. In that case, please use cloud storage or a USB cable for the transfer.
