Compatibility between Apple Pencil and iPad models

If you are experiencing issues when drawing with Apple Pencil, we kindly encourage you to first verify the compatibility with your iPad using the following page provided by Apple:

Furthermore, the hover function and related visual indicators such as the "thickness marker" and "crosshair marker" are available only on the models specified by Apple, as listed below:
・11-inch iPad Pro (4th generation) and 12.9-inch iPad Pro (6th generation) with Apple Pencil (2nd generation)
・iPad Mini (A17 Pro), 11-inch iPad Air (M2 and M3), 13-inch iPad Air (M2 and M3), 11-inch iPad Pro (M4), and 13-inch iPad Pro (M4) with Apple Pencil Pro

Please note that the hover function is not supported on any other combinations or products not mentioned above.
