It is possible to restore a layer to the state it was in before it was deleted by using the History retrieval function. Please try the following method.

1. Play the time lapse and set the playback speed to x1 shortly before the timing at which you would like to extract the layer.
   
2. Tap the pause button when the timing is right to extract a layer.
   
3. Tap the ︙ button and tap ““Save Artwork at This Point”.
